BTCCSquare news:

Mercuryo, a crypto payments firm, has forged a partnership with Visa to facilitate NEAR real-time conversion of digital assets into fiat currency. The collaboration leverages Visa Direct, Visa's real-time money movement network, enabling users to off-ramp crypto holdings directly to Visa debit and credit cards within minutes.

The integration significantly reduces settlement times and costs, particularly for cross-border transactions. Over 150 million merchants worldwide will now accept converted crypto funds through existing wallets, eliminating the need for users to switch platforms. This MOVE underscores the growing institutional adoption of crypto payment solutions.

Mercuryo's existing use of Visa Direct for real-time transfers across brokerage and digital banking accounts has now expanded to include crypto-to-fiat conversions. By tapping into Visa's global infrastructure, the firm aims to make digital asset liquidity more accessible while maintaining user convenience.
